Who is RG Strategic?
Founded by Russell Green in 2014, RG Strategic is a Queensland licensing and approvals consultancy specialising in liquor licensing and food premises approvals for hospitality venues and the tourism industry.
We are solutions-driven and focus on practical, end-to-end support helping clients understand requirements early, prepare complete applications, and manage follow-ups to reduce avoidable delays and rework.
We work with cafés, bars, restaurants, hotels and resorts across Queensland, including Far North Queensland, Wide Bay, the Sunshine Coast, South East Queensland and regional areas.

Russell Green
Director
Russell Green is the Director of RG Strategic. He brings more than 30 years’ experience across approvals, regulation and stakeholder engagement—including 17 years in local government and 13 years in private practice as the Director of his own consultancy.
Over that time, Russell has worked closely with councils, regulators OLGR and tourism businesses to navigate requirements, prepare clear applications, and move efficiently through approval processes. He is known for straightforward advice, responsive communication and a solutions-led approach.
Based on the Sunshine Coast, Russell draws on deep regional knowledge and a strong professional network across government and industry. He applies this experience to support hospitality and tourism operators with liquor licensing, food premises approvals and related compliance requirements.
